Market squares
The market square is the heart of a city or district. A place where people meet – whether in everyday situations or to celebrate Finland’s success in hockey. It is a place where people drink Finnish coffee, shop and meet with friends and strangers alike.
Helsinki has seven commercially used market squares, the busiest ones being Helsinki Market Square and Hakaniemi Market Square.
